Gamay

Gamay

This week's wine features Breaking Bread's 'Gamay'

Breaking Bread never seems to disappoint. This time we tried the 2023 Gamay and it was such an easy going red. The smell and taste are very fruit forward and leave an everlasting taste on the tongue. Notes of raspberries, red currant, and subtle earthy flavors fill the palate on each sip. Produced as the traditional Cru Beaujolais style, this is the perfect Summer wine. We suggest serving this Gamay chilled as an aperitif or with a savory dinner.

The Basics: Natural Red Wine

The Color: Plum

Alcohol %: 12.9%

The Grapes: Gamay

The Taste: Rich and Fruity

The Notes: Raspberry, Cherry, Violet, Plum, Cranberry

Saucemeup Pairing: Spicy Ponzu Glazed Shrimp over top Chili Garlic Capellini Pasta

Stay Saucy,
