Harvest Moon
Share
This week's wine features Gonc Winery’s 'Harvest Moon'.
One of the most intricate backgrounds of wine we have ever tasted comes from Gonc's backyard. Gonc is one of our fave natural wine makers and they did not disappoint. This wine's grapes were all picked right under the full moon which gives this wine it's uniqueness. The aroma of cranberries, cherries, and orange are everlasting and build as you drink down the bottle. Lots of fruit forwardness but no sign of sweetness which makes it an easy drink. The combination of red fruits and citrus fruits really does the brunt of the work from smell to taste. This wine reminds us of a warm Fall moon watching. We served this wine chilled on a warm night and it was a delight!
