Glou Glou

Glou Glou

This week's wine features Fio’s 'Glou Glou'

Literally, an Orange wine. All the way from Germany, Glou Glou has so many miraculous flavors. At first sip, you taste the smoky, clementine flavors, and slowly go into a flower forward essence. Would it be wrong to say this reminds us of perfume? Every sequence of notes combines a great blend of colors to your palate. A zesty addition to your fridge and an orange wine you can trust. We served this wine chilled on a warm, breezy night under the moon.

The Basics: Orange Wine

The Color: Orange Sea Sediment

Alcohol %: 10.5%

The Grapes: Müller Thurgau & Weissburgunder

The Taste: Honeysuckles & Oranges

The Notes: Elderflower, Green Apple, Clementine, and Lemon

Saucemeup Pairing: Hot Honey Goat Cheese Grilled Cheese; Sweet Thai Brussel Sprouts; Funky Blue Cheeses

Be sure to try this wine and tell us what you think below.

Stay Saucy,
