The Wilderness

The Wilderness

This week's wine features Field Recordings 'The Wilderness'

Our take on this wine is absolutely blushing! With only 6 barrels made, if you're looking for that light, starter wine on a nice day or poolside this is the one. It's the perfect level of fruity without being too sweet or overwhelming. Although the alcohol content is low, it was a nice breeze of feeling and a perfect sip all throughout. This was such an easy wine to drink to tone down the evening. We served ours chilled in a short wine glass.

The Basics: California Red Blend

The Color: Pale Ruby Red

Alcohol %: 9.9%

The Grapes: Charbano, Alicante Bouschet

The Taste: Fruity, Dry, Not Sweet

The Notes: Raspberry, Strawberry, Blueberry, Oak, Vanilla, Cream

Saucemeup Pairing: Wagyu/Beef Salami, Aged Gouda or Goat Cheese, Strawberries, Tomatoes (Try this is charcuterie board form!)

Stay Saucy,
